Expo Speakers Program
Exhibitor Presentation Program
Several exhibitors have asked for the opportunity to speak or make short presentations at the conference, whether specifically on their products or more generally on the industries they represent. To accommodate this, we have established a separate Expo Speakers Program, and have set aside a presentation room immediately above the gym in the Recreation Center. Exhibitors will initially be invited to book 25-minute slots, beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday, and running through to 7 p.m. on Thursday, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Exhibitors may request multiple time slots, on the understanding that the secondary times may be assigned to other exhibitors if there is the demand. Conference organizers may also schedule 55-minute speaking slots if, in their sole opinion, the the topic is of sufficient interest to warrant this.
The presentation room will have a projector and a laptop with a flash drive – speakers will need to bring their own presentations on a flash drive, or copy them over before their presentation. Please stick to the allotted time, to allow five minutes at the end of each presentation for the next speaker to set up, and have people come and go according to their interests. The Expo Speakers Program Schedule will also be prominently displayed on posters at the site. All Expo presentations are free – as is attendance at the Expo itself.
