“Jumpstarting the New Green Economy” Conference Honors Leading Contributors and Companies for Achievements in Sustainability
MADISON, N.J. (MAY 13, 2009) — “Jumpstarting the New Green Economy” Conference organizers will be recognizing some of New Jersey’s leading contributors and companies for “best business practices in sustainability” at the May 20 Conference Awards Dinner at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s College at Florham in Madison, N.J. Awards Dinner, Wednesday, May 20, 2009, 6:30 p.m. to Honor Green Business Trailblazers
Co-sponsored by Morris County SHRM (the Society for Human Resource Management), the Awards Dinner will be held Wednesday, May 20, at the Ferguson Recreation Center.
- Individual “Exceptional Achievement” Awardees include Phil LaRocco of E+Co, Knute Jensen of NJDEP, and Randy Solomon of NJSSI
- Recipients of the Sustainable Enterprise Awards include Lighting Science Group Corporation (Govi Rao), Alcoa Howmet, and BASF.
The Morris County SHRM chapter’s President-elect, Valerie Egan, will present the three business awards on behalf of the Morris County-SHRM chapter. Presenters for the individual Exceptional Achievement Awards will include Dan Twomey, Jeana Wirtenberg, and Matt Polsky, on behalf of ISE.
