In the last five years, he has given hundreds of keynote presentations to corporations, governments, academics, and NGOs. Bob applies business and leadership development experience from his 34-year career at IBM Canada to engage the business community in proactively avoiding risks and capturing opportunities associated with sustainability issues. He is the author of The Sustainability Advantage which quantifies potential bottom-line benefits from using sustainability strategies, and The Next Sustainability Wavewhich shows how to convince senior executives to commit to sustainability strategies. His most recent venture is a DVD presentation of The Business Case for Sustainability. It is used in webinars and videoconferences and helps reduce his carbon footprint from global speaking trips. Bob is on the faculties of the Sustainable Enterprise Academy and the Education and Sustainability Academy; is on the advisory boards of The Natural Step Canada,Durham Sustain Ability, Learning for a Sustainable Future, and eQuilibrium; and is a member of the Education Alliance for a Sustainable Ontario, the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP), and the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS). He has a BSc from McGill University (1964), an MEd from the University of Toronto (2000), and a PhD from the University of Toronto (2005). She and her husband, Jeffrey McIntyre, work with executive management teams and entrepreneurial individuals, couples and families to cultivate sustainable relationships and clear communication while developing thriving businesses. They recently co-authored a book entitled Intimate Leadership: The Power of Couples in Business Together and co-created The Seven Intelligences of Leadership®, an integrative approach to visionary leadership. Miriam coaches executives in the areas of personal power, performance and business success. Her professional clients span the fields of law, medicine, biotech, engineering, development, financial services, and the arts. Miriam’s work as an organizational consultant and coach developed naturally from her affinity and talent for building productive networks and effective teams. She is well versed in the sufficiency conversation generated from the work of Lynne Twist, author of The Soul of Money and co-founder of The Pachamama Alliance, creator of the Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium. Miriam is a seasoned facilitator of the Symposium, an international effort dedicated to creating an environmentally sustainable, socially just and spiritually fulfilling human presence on this planet. Miriam recently presented the Symposium at the Society for Organizational Learning, where she interfaces with the work of Peter Senge as a consultant member. Miriam has led Sufficiency Call Teams since 2003 and hosted the 2007 and 2008 Global Sufficiency Summits. She is on the board of the Sufficiency Foundation and is the Advisory Committee Chair for the Global Sufficiency Network. Her presentations include such titles as Enough Already! A Sufficiency Dialogue for Creating a Sustainable World and The Power of Enough. Miriam is a founder of the Boston Women’s Health Book Collective, Inc., the organization responsible for writing the best seller Our Bodies, Ourselves, a book that shifted the national and international dialogue about women’s health, sexuality and power. She also co-authored Ourselves and Our Children, a book about families and parenting. She is a highly regarded speaker and facilitator of dialogues that focus on unleashing leadership at work, at home, in the community and in the world. Miriam leads a year-long coaching program entitled Beyond Success: A Leaders’ Learning Forum for Executive and Professional Women. Miriam earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Michigan/Ann Arbor. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work, with a specialty in groups and organizations. She served for many years on the Board of The Boston Women’s Health Book Collective, Inc. Chivukula of Franklin Township holds the distinction as the first and only South-Asian representative in the history of the state Legislature. An information-technology company executive and former mayor of Franklin Township, Chivukula is serving his fourth consecutive two-year term in the General Assembly. He represents the 17th Legislative District, which contains the Middlesex County communities of Highland Park, Milltown, New Brunswick, North Brunswick, and Piscataway; and the Somerset County community of Franklin Township. Chivukula, 57, has a professional background in electrical engineering and is considered one of the Legislature’s leading experts on telecommunications, science and technology issues. He was a leading force behind the creation of the bipartisan, bicameral Legislative Caucus on Science and Technology in 2004, a panel charged with enhancing the state’s position as a leader in research, technological development and innovation. Born in Nellore, India, Chivukula came to the United States in 1974 to pursue a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the City College of New York. He worked for CBS Television from 1977 to 1978. He worked for Electronic Associates from 1978 to 1980 designing power-plant operator training simulators. From 1980 to 1981, he developed control diagram language for sewerage treatment plants for Leeds and Northrop. He served as senior management consultant and systems engineer with AT&T Bell Labs from 1981 to 1983. He moved in 1983 to AT&T Technologies where he developed the Bell Communications Research account and was responsible for marketing computers ranging from minis to super micros. He worked as an account executive for AT&T Information Systems from 1985 to 1987, and became senior product planner for AT&T Microelectronics in 1988. Chivukula also currently serves as Chairman of Rangam Consultants Inc., a Somerset-based information technology firm. |

David Grant, President & CEO, the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation
David Grant assumed executive leadership of the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation in 1998. He is responsible for development and evaluation of programs in the Foundation’s major areas of giving: education, the environment, and the arts in New Jersey, as well as the Foundation’s major initiatives: Poetry, technical assistance to non-profit organizations, and Sustainable Morristown.
David spent his professional career before Dodge as an educator. In 1983 he and his wife, Nancy Boyd Grant, co-founded The Mountain School of Milton Academy, a semester-long, interdisciplinary environmental studies program in Vermont for high school juniors. From 1994 to 1998 David was a national consultant to schools and leader of workshops on topics of curriculum and program design, professional development, assessment practices and school climate.
His public service includes having been Town Moderator of Vershire, Vermont and a Board Member of the Vermont Council for the Humanities. He served as Chair of the Board of the Council of New Jersey Grantmakers from 2006 to 2008 and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Surdna Foundation in New York City.
David’s avocation since 1976 has been performing as Mark Twain in a one-man theatrical show, including, in 1982, a performing/lecture tour around the world.
David holds an M.A. in American Studies from the University of Michigan and was graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with an A.B. in English. In 2008, he received an honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters from Drew University (Madison, New Jersey).

Carol has been studying, speaking, writing, and consulting on career transitions for over 20 years. Following her graduation from Purdue University with a PhD in Industrial / Organizational Psychology, she worked for five years as an internal Human Resource consultant for a Fortune 500 company, facilitating a variety of corporate transitions.
After running several Craving a Career Change support groups and teaching career self-assessment courses at San Jose State University, Carol began working with individuals to help them clarify their vision of their next career.
As a result of her work with clients, she created an in depth Career Clarity™ Program and wrote three books,Your Dream Career For Dummies (2005), Changing Careers For Dummies (2001), and The Seasons of Change (1998). In 2003 Carol began training professionals to use her career coaching and transition support programs with their clients.
Over the years, Carol has spoken to a variety of professional groups, at Chamber of Commerce events, women’s conferences, and at companies such as Hewlett Packard, Cisco Systems, Microsoft, Levi Strauss, Minetta San Jose International Airport, and SRI. Recently she has spoken about green careers and facilitated green career panels at Solar Living Institute’s Green Career Conference, Solfest, the Green Building Exchange, Acterra, the International Career Development Conference, and the California Career Development Association.
In addition, Carol has been a featured radio guest on a number of radio stations, including WBAP News/Talk 820 in Dallas TX, CBS Radio / WDSY Y108 in Pittsburgh PA, and Wisdom Radio Network.
Her work has been quoted and highlighted in a variety of newspapers including the Chicago Tribune, Sun Times, Joyce Lain Kennedy’s column on DallasNews.com, Twin Cities Pioneer Press, Courier Post, and Orlando Sentinel. She writes her own blog, www.greencareercentralblog.com, and is a guest writer on Sustainablog.
To give back to her community, Carol is the co-chair of her community’s Green Ribbon Citizens’ Committee.
