Profeta serves as Chair of the state-wide Mayors’ Committee for a Green Future, a standing committee of the New Jersey League of Municipalities. During his tenure, the Mayors’ Committee has partnered with the New Jersey Sustainable State Institute and the Municipal Land Use Center to produce Sustainable Jersey, a municipal certification program for environmental achievement. Profeta speaks widely around the State to promote Sustainable Jersey.
