Lori Braunstein, Sustainable Cherry Hill
Lori Braunstein is the Executive Director and Founder of Sustainable Cherry Hill. She arrived at this position by using her background in small business, speech pathology, and motherhood to gain enough momentum in her community to gain support from her local government. Sustainable Cherry Hill is a non-profit, grass roots organization with a mission of educating, empowering and partnering with the stakeholders of Cherry Hillto forge a more sustainable future. It has been one of the Beta groups for NJ Sustainable State Institute and continues to be innovative and inclusive to make the town and region more sustainable.
Jennifer Kelley serves as Deputy Communications Manager for Cherry Hill Township, and is the municipality’s official liaison to Sustainable Cherry Hill, 501(c)(3) nonprofit – for which she is an executive board member and Communications Director. Recently appointed as the township’s agent to Sustainable Jersey, she proposes, prepares, organizes, and conducts outreach for Cherry Hill’s numerous sustainability initiatives. Ms. Kelley has a background in journalism, editing and reporting for TV Guide, The Philadelphia Tribune, The Sun newspapers, and South Jersey Magazine, among others. She has also been accepted into Year Two of the prestigious New Jersey Learns training program, taught through the Cloud Institute’s Education for Sustainability initiative.
